Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 July 2026
Cyber Blankitt is a security newsletter — it would be a poor look to be careless with your data. This policy explains, in plain English, exactly what we collect and why. The short version: we collect your email address if you subscribe, and almost nothing else.
Who we are
Cyber Blankitt is a brand operated by EAS Technology Consulting Ltd (registered in England & Wales, company no. 12365108), registered office 42 Brook Street, Tring, HP23 5EF. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.
ICO Data Protection Register number: [ICO number]. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact privacy@cyberblankitt.com.
What we collect
| Data | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Your email address | When you subscribe to the newsletter | To send you the weekly email you asked for |
| Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) | Automatically, when you visit | Security, abuse prevention, and keeping the site online |
That's it. We do not ask for your name, we do not build a profile on you, and we do not buy or sell data about you.
The Scam Checker tool
Any text you paste into our Scam Checker is analysed entirely inside your own browser. It is never sent to us, never leaves your device, and is never stored.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and runs no advertising or analytics trackers. There is nothing to consent to because there is nothing tracking you. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
One technical note for the fully transparent: our typeface is currently served by Google Fonts, which means Google's servers may receive your IP address when the font loads. We are moving to self-hosted fonts to remove even this.
Who we share data with
We use a small number of trusted processors to run the service. They only ever act on our instructions:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting, content delivery, our subscriber database, and server logs.
- Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) — sends our emails; receives your email address so it can deliver them.
Both are US-based, so subscribing involves an international transfer of your email address. These transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses / the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, and the EU–US / UK–US Data Privacy Framework where applicable).
Legal basis
- Your consent — for sending you the newsletter. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Our legitimate interests — for basic server logs needed to keep the site secure and available.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, after which it is removed. Server logs are retained only for a short period by our host for security purposes.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have it corrected or erased;
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- receive it in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time (every email has an unsubscribe link);
- complain to the regulator.
To exercise any of these, email privacy@cyberblankitt.com. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service evolves. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
